Opening reception – Welcome drink

Opening reception – Welcome drink

One hour prior to the start of the 1st session, a welcome reception will be held at the Sheraton veranda with the unique view. It will provide a wonderful opportunity to meet the other players in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and enjoy a drink before the play begins.

 Excursion

Excursion

In the middle of the festival week, an excursion is organized as to provide the participants with the opportunity to view some of the magnificent landscapes of Rhodes. Usually the excursion is by boat, when a trip around a few of the most beautiful beaches in the east coast of the island is run. If the weather permits –and it usually does at this time of year- swimming in the open sea, dives from aboard, a marvelous lunch and lots of drinks create a fantastic atmosphere and a memorable experience.

Gala Dinner - Awards Ceremony

Gala Dinner - Awards Ceremony

The closing event of the festival is held on the last night, 26th of August 2016, in the beautiful terrace around Sheraton’s pool. The participants are entertained with a dj set during the marvelous dinner, whereas special events emphasizing on the local ‘color’ like traditional Greek dancing warm up the atmosphere for the peak of night, the awards ceremony. A round of applause accompanies the numerous winners receiving the silver cups and the handsome money awards. Needless to say that the conclusion of the event finds everyone happy, drunk and dancing.
